Windermere Brewery

The Watermill brewery was founded in 2006 in a purpose built extension on the side of the Watermill Inn, in Ings by the main road between Kendal and Windermere. The pub itself had opened in 1990 as a conversion of an old Watermill, hence the name.

It has now been renamed to be the Windermere Brewery.

The five barrel plant and equipment were originally at the Hops Bar and Grill opposite the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. There are now plans to expand the brewery into a new purpose built brewhouse on the other side of the mill stream

The beer names have a doggie theme, which is no surprise as dogs are allowed in the main bar of the pub, and get served with doggie biscuits before their owners!
