Bowness Bay Brewery

Bowness Bay Brewery

The logo of the Bowness Bay Brewery The Bowness Bay brewery started in 2012 in a unit in the Winster Valley in the heart of the Lake District, using equipment originally used by the Northcote Brewery, Norwich.

The Brewery moved to Kendal in September 2014 with an increased capacity from 5 to 13 barrels. Still retaining the 5 barrel plant, this means main brews can use the new 8 barrel plant with smaller experimental brews and specials on the existing 5 barrel. The Brewery now has its own Tap House, the hugely successful Factory Tap, right at the heart of one of the Lake District's most innovative creative industry hubs, 'The Factory'
