This eighteenth century traditional coaching inn is under new ownership since late 2025 and was extensively renovated and redecorated in early 2026. It now boasts an extended bar area, a lounge and a snug around a central bar, a restaurant and accommodation including rooms for disabled guests. There is a large car park to the rear with a back entrance to the bars. Another local beer may be available on busier weekends and holidays.
