Re-opened in April 2019 after a major refurbishment by the new owners, The Queen’s Head is a picture-book estate village pub with history dating back to 1672 close to Askham Hall. It is the sister pub to the George & Dragon at Clifton and offers hearty, healthy food made with produce from the Lowther family estate. Posh breakfast 10-12 noon. Tables in front and a garden behind. Six large bedrooms are decorated in country-house style.
