A Victorian inn, re-built in 1899, in a tranquil conservation village in the Eden valley. This family-owned hotel has a cosy bar serving three cask ales - mainly from local breweries. There is a comfortable lounge with a log fire and two dining areas, serving excellent and imaginative home-cooked food. Across the road is the garden area beside the village stream, with picnic tables and three yurts. In addition to the regular meal times, breakfast is available from 8-10am.
